compression, you don't even have to worry about colour congesting your
network.
Use Colour Intelligently and Economically
The iR 6800C's smart colour capability means you use colour only as and
when you need it. Use Canon's ID management technology to stop expensive
unauthorised usage by setting colour and volume limits for users via
individual passwords. To save unnecessary print costs, the printer setting
defaults to black and white, so you can choose when you want colour. Take
advantage of Canon's consultative approach and learn how you can attribute
print costs to individual clients and control your colour budget even more
efficiently.

as sales presentations and financial reports. The iR 6800C is also the
first colour capable MFP to incorporate Canon's durable a-Si drum for
rapid high volume printing and Canon's new Hybrid Process Engine for
enhanced print speed and economy. So now you can print at 68ppm in black
and white and 16ppm in colour, create high quality mixed colour and mono
documents on a variety of media and maintain your workflow with high
capacity continuous printing.

Publishing Manager is just the breakthrough for you. It enables you to
bring together mixed documents from different applications Microsoft
Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Adobe PDF etc.), create a single electronic
document from them which you can edit, amend, personalise, finish
professionally and print easily. With no software training and huge
savings in manual collation time.
Network Ready and Ecologically Prepared
Select your chosen model that suits your needs. The iR6800C is available
in two versions. The iR6800CN comes fully network ready with a built-in
PS/PCL/UFR printer board, for people who want colour control. The iR6800C
is available with an EFI- printer board D1, for true PostScript giving
greater colour control. And whatever your working environment, both models
are unrivalled in the natural environment. The iR 6800C/CN is the world's
first IT based product to comply to the new EC RoHS (Restriction of
Hazardous Substances) Directive.
