Fast photo printing and colour copying
Print a photo lab quality 4" x 6" borderless photo in approximately 55
seconds in Standard mode*. Get fast borderless output from a small credit
card size right up to A4. Or use the PIXMA MP170 as a standalone copier
delivering up to 22 copies per minute in mono and up to17 copies per
minute in colour.
Long-lasting prints
Canon's ChromaLife100 system of print head, new formulation inks and Canon
genuine photo papers preserves your memories producing long-lasting
beautiful photos**.
Direct camera and card printing
Print photos directly from all PictBridge compatible cameras and
camcorders. Or use the memory card slot for direct photo printing from
memory cards. Select photos and print formats using the control panel
without connecting to a PC.
Practical Photo Index Sheet
Print out a Photo Index Sheet showing thumbnail images of all your photos
on a memory card. Mark the images, print size and number of copies you
want simply using a pen. Scan the sheet in and the PIXMA MP170 then prints
them out automatically.

The built-in scanner has a 1200 x 2400 dpi resolution for crisp and clear
scans. A USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface speeds up image transfer to your PC.
