Canon iR110 Network Production System is the complete high volume digital
printing solution centered around a Web browser-based interface, a new
image-processing architecture and an innovative 110 page per minute
digital printing engine with extensive finishing capabilities. Designed to

Quality
The printing process, which
creates the images from the digital data, is differentiated in the Canon
iR110 by a number of technologies. These include:
a) An advanced LED writer system with significant
technological advances in dot definition, uniformity, and reliability.
b) Gray Resolution Enhancement Technology, or GRET, to
produce text and lines with excellent edge definition and smoothness.
c) Small Particle Developer toning subsystem, to produce
smooth solids, crisp text and line art, and low levels of print
background.
d) A highly advanced process control system to give
consistent print quality print to print, run to run, and machine to
machine.

User friendly technology
The Canon iR110 System paper supplies come equipped with Vacuum Corrugated
Feed (VCF) paper feed technology. All of the paper supplies (up to six) in
the Canon iR110 System use VCF technology and benefit from the following
reliability enhancements:

No adjustment is required
to feed any and all recommended weights of paper

Parts that would wear,
degrade performance, and require replacement are eliminated

Misfeeds and multifeed
are significantly reduced while the range of paper types and stocks
that can be run reliably is increased

Race-Track (Trayless)
duplexing keeps two-sided imaging travelling smoothly.
Race-track duplexing is a significant part of the reliability of the Canon
iR110 System. Instead of storing single sided copies in a tray to feed for
the duplex image, race-track duplexing keeps the paper continually moving,
eliminating the chance of duplex tray misfeeds and waste after a jam. This
also contributes to the system’s ability to deliver first-in, first-out
sets. The race track paper path and its sophisticated software interface
can continually move and monitor a maximum of six single sided sheets when
printing the duplex sides of images. An integrated decurler helps maintain
paper flatness for reliable transport after its first pass through the
fuser.

path access helps keep productivity rolling.
The Canon iR110 System features a short, straight paper path. This path,
in combination with reliable paper feed, active registration and
race-track duplex path, significantly reduces the number of paper jams
compared to competitive products. Any stoppages are incredibly easy to
clear, due to the straight paper path and specifically designed software
and hardware paper clearance features.
Web-Browser-Based
Operator Control Interface simplifies Document Printing, System
Control and Job Management. The Marking Engine console features a
touch screen monitor for easy control. The main advantages of web-based
interface are that all updates to the interface are done at one central
location rather than having to update all client workstations, while the
interface has the same look and feel no matter what client operating
system is used.

The Canon iR110 System
provides a standard paper capacity of 4,000 sheets in three drawers. The
bottom two drawers hold a total of 3,000 75g/m2 sheets of paper up to A3.
The top drawer holds 1,000 sheets of A4 paper. A second paper supply
module can be added to bring the total capacity to 8,000 sheets.

tried-and-true features have been designed into these supplies to make
them easier and more productive to use:

The ingenious, modular
design of the iR110 system allows it to be configured to meet all high
volume needs, whether for Central Reprographics Departments, or
Commercial Print environments. An additional paper supply module,
stacker and Booklet maker can be added to any of the std
configurations, to increase productivity without compromising on speed
(110 images per minute).
