The FAX-L400 brings added speed and efficiency to your
workplace with high quality, easy-to-use images. Versatile in operation,
this unit can be used as a laser printer and flatbed copier.
Time-saving

Reduce your phone costs, thanks to ultra fast Super G3 transmission. You
also spend less time waiting at the machine. The L400 scans your faxes at
a quick 4.3 seconds per page and offers laser printing at a speed of 14
pages per minute. There's virtually no warm-up time for the FAX-L400. The
end result is that you end up with more time to concentrate on other work.
Cost-cutting efficiency
When sending longer faxes, a 50-page automatic document feeder handles it
all for you. Speed dialling with 30 one-touch keys and 100 coded keys,
makes sending to regular clients simple. There's a large 250-sheet paper
cassette. And, even if paper runs out, a 256-page memory * stores all your
faxes safely for printing later. A special toner-saving mode cuts costs,
while dual access allows you to fax and receive simultaneously.

The clear control panel of the FAX-L400 makes operation very simple. What
is more, Canon's all-in-one cartridge can be changed in just seconds –
without getting your hands dirty. You also benefit from a fax/tel auto
switch and an answering machine connection, so no messages are missed. It
also means that you don't need an extra line for your fax.
High quality images
When sending fine text, diagrams and even photos, Canon's unique UHQ
(Ultra High Quality) technology ensures exceptional image quality. 256
greyscale reproduction produces perfect halftones on faxes and copies,
while 600 dpi laser printing on plain paper gives high quality and durable
faxes.
Printing and copying
You can use the FAX-L400 as a highly productive 14 pages per minute laser
printer. It also functions as a high quality flatbed copier for copying or
faxing book and magazine pages as well as all your regular work. You also
get all the benefits of digital copying – including electronic sorting,
